Who can sign?

An authorised signatory from your organisation must sign the Merlyn Mind Customer Terms before setup can begin.

If signed during the sales process, the installation admin won't need to sign again.
If unsure about your contract status, submit a support request.

Sign Now

1

Select the Organisation to Sign for

This should be the highest level you want to authorise, such as your district or an individual school.

  • Signing at district level applies the terms to all schools within it.
  • Signing at individual school level only applies to that school, and separate terms are needed for other schools.
  • Once you select an organisation, confirm you have the authority to sign for it.

2

Confirm & Sign

  • If authorised to sign, select "Yes" to view the terms. Read through them and then sign.
  • If not authorised, select "No" and enter the email of someone who is. They will receive the link and follow the same process.

A Merlyn Mind Customer Terms agreement must be signed before installation.

gradient2.png2_56x56_Left.png Adding our allow list to your network

Two things need to happen for Merlyn to work within your network:

Task One: School network allow list

Request your Network Administrator to implement the Merlyn Allow List to allow access to Merlyn-provided cloud services for any devices using Merlyn.

Task Two: Email allow list

Ask your email administrator to allow emails from "merlyn.org" to ensure teachers receive training materials and announcements.

1

Go to the Management Console
https://manage.merlyn.org/

2

Claim the Organisation
Search for your organisation, select it, and click "Claim". You can also register the highest-level organisation and/or individual schools for your own purposes. Note: Once claimed, no one else can claim it. Click "Next" on the organisation's page to proceed.

3

Add Admins
You can add up to 19 additional admins to manage devices and users for the organisation(s). Enter the email addresses of the users you want to add. Click "Next" to proceed.

Activate Licence Keys

The person designated as the licence key recipient during the sales process will receive an email with the keys. If unsure who this is, ask your director of technology or submit a support request.

  • Select the organisation from the dropdown to assign licence keys.
  • Licence keys can be split between organisations.
  • If you don't assign all available keys, they will become active but won't be assigned until you do.

gradient2.png7_556x56_Left.png Update your panel firmware and software

Before installing the Merlyn Display software, it's important to update your panel to the latest firmware and software version. This ensures the highest level of compatibility between the software and your panel.

The update process will vary slightly depending on your specific panel model. However, it typically involves accessing the System settings menu on your panel. Consult your panel's user manual for specific instructions.

gradient2.png8_56x56_Left.png Download Merlyn Display Software

The Merlyn Display software can be downloaded from the App Store on your panel. Depending on your access settings, the panel may require administrator approval before you can download the software.
