How to manually install or update the Merlyn Display app on your Newline panel

If you're unable to download or update your Merlyn application through the Newline App Store, you can use the steps below to install the latest version from us directly. 

Before you download, please uninstall any prior versions of the Merlyn application.

• From the Settings app on your display, go to Apps > Merlyn. Tap on Uninstall near the upper middle of that page to fully remove the application.

Navigate to the browser on your display and open this link: https://newline-releases.apps.merlyn.org/

Once it's finished downloading, tap on Open at the top of your browser and follow the prompts. You can also find the .apk file in File Viewer > Downloads.

• Be sure to allow all permissions to complete the install.

After it's finished installing, launch Merlyn from your Apps folder. You may be asked to register again by scanning the QR code with your phone camera.
