Annotation on Newline Display with Merlyn

You can control the native annotation tool on your Newline Display using Merlyn.

To open the annotation tool, say "Open annotation."

The toolbar will be displayed at the bottom of your screen. 

Other voice requests for this action include:

  • "Begin annotation"
  • "Start annotation"

Use the AirMouse to interact

Click and hold the center orange button to create a shape. Release when you are done. 

Change the color by clicking on the tool then the color palette on the annotation toolbar. Color choices are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, and white.

Stop annotation and get back to controlling your panel

To stop annotating, say:

  • "Stop annotation"
  • "End annotation"
  • "Close annotation"
  • "Exit annotation"

Note: You have to exit the Annotation tool in order to interact with your panel as normal.
