Your remote

Can't find your remote?

Step 1 
Locate the Merlyn avatar to open the Overlay.

	Access the Merlyn Menu by tapping the Merlyn avatar on the panel screen.
	This opens the menu.

Step 2
Click the Find My Remote icon.

Once the menu is displayed, click the remote icon to hear a chime.

Remote use

Push-to-talk: When you press and hold this button, Merlyn will actively listen for your voice request. Remember, a quick press won't work - you need to hold it down!

Finding Merlyn Chat

		Using your remote Press the chat button on your remote to launch Merlyn Chat.
		Through the Overlay Step 1 Tap the Merlyn avatar on the panel screen to access the menu.
		Step 2 Click the chat icon to start Merlyn Chat.

How to Provide Feedback

Help make Merlyn even better for all teachers!
Simply use the thumbs-up/thumbs-down buttons on your remote or on the screen under Merlyn's last response.

Browser Functions

Switch between tabs, scroll and select

Use the directional pad (D-Pad) to switch between browser tabs, scroll up and down on webpages and documents, and play or pause videos.

Switching Tabs Use the left and right buttons on the D-Pad to toggle between tabs.	Scrolling on a Page Use the up and down buttons on the D-Pad.	Playing and Pausing Press the select button to play or pause videos in the browser.

Troubleshooting

Calibrate the Air Mouse Is your cursor not moving in sync with your remote? To fix this, turn off the Air Mouse by pressing the cursor button on your remote, point the remote at the centre of the screen, and then turn the Air Mouse back on. Your cursor should now move in line with your remote.
	Remote Batteries Make sure the batteries are inserted correctly in your remote control and that the pull tab has been removed. If you've been using the remote for a while, the batteries might need replacing.
Pairing Are none of your Merlyn buttons working? Your remote might not be paired. See the instructions for pairing your remote.
